Is there cost to attend this school?
No. Ethos Academy is a tuition-free public charter school open to all students in South Carolina. Ethos Academy will never charge tuition.
Are students required to live in Richland County to attend?
No. All age-appropriate residents of South Carolina may attend Libertas Academy, no matter where they live in the state.
Where can we learn more about the Curricula that will be used?
Ethos Academy will use Core Knowledge, Eureka Math, and Core Virtues as our curriculum providers. Core Knowledge includes a health component.

Will the students wear uniforms?
Yes. Our students wear school uniforms that are available for purchase at the school. Our uniforms are cost effective and durable. Our students can leave behind the worry and stress of what they are wearing each day and simply focus and enjoy learning and playing with their friends!
What grades are available at Ethos Academy?
Ethos Academy will first open for the 2027-28 school year serving grades 4K through 6th. Ethos Academy will add one grade each year until we fully serve grades 4K-8th.
Does Ethos Academy have sister schools across the state?
Yes - we currently have five sister schools across South Carolina:
Libertas Academy - Boiling Springs - located in Boiling Springs
Libertas Academy - Colleton - located in Walterboro
Greenwood Charter Academy - located in Greenwood
Cherokee Charter Academy - located in Gaffney
Cogito Academy - located in Lancaster
Libertas Academy - Woodruff - located in Woodruff
Will the school provide transportation?
Yes! Our school provides bus options serving communities with group stops. The bus service are provided at no charge.
Does the school have a mascot and school colors?
Yes. We are the Patriots and our colors are red, white, and blue. GO PATRIOTS!
